There’s something breathtaking about a field of tall grass and wildflowers, especially when it stretches off into the distance towards Shenandoah National Park. And when you add in a beautiful girl with a dazzling smile, a heart full of hopes and dreams, and a soul that’s gentle and kind, it’s the stuff photographer’s dreams are made of.

The light was perfect as it began to sink below the horizon. I love shooting in Rappahannock County. It’s beauty never ceases to amaze me. And having the opportunity to shoot at Eldon Farms, where cattle are your only bystanders, is one that I hope to never pass up. Some serious magic happens when the wide-open spaces, the tangible peace, and being enveloped in nature all combine.
