Hunter and Erin were just about the most laid-back, awesome couple I could ask for. They tied the knot in Warrenton, at a historic jail, so they obviously have an eye for cool locations, and a great sense of humor. And even though the Virginia weather decided to dish out some epic heat and humidity, they handled it with patience and optimism. And because they opted to do a first look, we were able to get the most important portraits done before the ceremony, and even built some AC rest time into their timeline so they could chill a bit before saying their vows.
I will always, always recommend a first look. Because they are so full of emotion, and they can tell a story that simply can’t be told without one. And it’s always nice when there’s less to fit in after the ceremony and couples get more time to interact with their families and guests. In this case, they headed out to their favorite restaurant after changing out of their wedding clothes. Awesomely laid-back, what did I say?!
They booked their wedding and venue through Ciao Bella Celebrations in Warrenton, but opted for custom photography coverage rather than the standard photos included in their package. I was so happy to work with them, and happen to think they have the cutest ever flower girl. She stopped to pick up all the flower petals after her aunt helped her scatter them like she was coached to do. Only when she placed them all safely back in her basket did she continue down the aisle. She’s got spirit!
