What could be better than a boho tent and rolling green hills?! Oh, I know….a couple of energetic, dark-haired boys and their parents!

It was a beautiful morning in Rappahannock County, and we had a relaxed photo session with lots of movement to keep these sweet boys engaged. A few secrets, an owie or two, some snuggles, and lots of smiles produced some photos worthy of a gallery wall. I love family sessions and the energy and focus that I feel while interacting, and giving simple prompts that foster natural interaction. Because those are the stories that are SO worth telling.

This family rocked the mix of dressy and casual outfits, which made their images really pop. It’s always fun when clients show up with a cohesive look that will elevate the overall look of their photos.

But since the mom is a talented artist, I’m not at all surprised at the appealing mix of style and visual texture.
