This was my second year shooting family photos for this high-energy, fun, somewhat crazy (but in the best way!) family. And while they don’t ALL consider family photo day their favorite day of the year, we always capture loads of great photos to update the giant gallery wall in their living room. Plus we have a little fun along the way.

John Genho has been the farm manager for Eldon Farms, a huge farm and cattle operation in Virginia, for many years. His family has their memories, hopes, dreams, and frustrations all tied up in the land there. So naturally, we chose a few spots around the farm to take photos, and threw in the vintage truck at the end to add a little variety. (As if the dirt roads, tall grass, and fall-colored mountains didn’t already have enough variety, lol.) Photo sessions with this fam are always ambitious! And I always love the results.
